Alumni Appreciation Week Celebrates Frontline COVID19 Heroes

On Friday, April 10, Dawn Curtis, MMI's Alumni Director, announced an upcoming week calling for nominations of Marion Made alumni battling COVID 19 in their own communities: "While the majority of us are able to hunker down and work from home, we remain grateful for fellow citizens who are on the front lines as essential workers each day keeping our healthcare system and economy going," she wrote. "From nurses and physicians, grocery store employees, delivery men and mail carriers, to cashiers and truckers, we are indebted to them for continuing essential services we all rely on. If you know an alumnus who deserves to be recognized for their front line work during this CoVid 19 pandemic, nominate them by emailing me at Each day next week, we will recognize two deserving alumni and send them a little token of our appreciation!"
