Cadet Winch Wins GA Tough Mudder Overall

In November 2019, Ian Winch (a West Point-sponsored MMI cadet) bested a Navy Seal BUDS instructor to win 1st place at the Georgia Tough Mudder held near Atlanta. Ice-covered obstacles didn't stop this motivated young athlete from taking the top spot in the professional wave on a brutally cold morning. He is a member of the newly-organized MUD TIGERS obstacle course racing team at MMI, sponsored by Claire Sherling. In October's Georgia Savage race, Winch placed 3rd in his age group in the elite heat. Compete at MMI's own race by taking the Marion Made Challenge, SAT March 7, 2020!
