MMI welcomes freshman class; boosts enrollment

MMI began welcoming members of its freshman class in early August, beginning with the baseball and softball players as well as our Coast Guard Academy scholars. Our official Move-In Days were Aug. 10-11, when MMI staffers, coaches, alumni and returning sophomores in-processed our newest "recruits" on campus. Families from nearby Demopolis and as far away as Maine were welcomed by all. 

College classes began at 8:00 AM Aug. 17. So far, MMI is expected to exceed its projected Fall 2015 enrollment after more then 300 freshmen matriculated. An official report will be released following drop-add.
