Move-In Day Instructions

Welcome to MMI! We are excited to welcome our new cadet recruits this fall semester.

You should have received information via email indicating which date you are supposed to move in and providing you with the move-in day schedule. Your company cadre will help direct you throughout the day, but to help you prepare, we have outlined the 3 main steps of move-in day below. Please keep the schedule in mind, and be considerate of others who are also trying to move in efficiently.

When you arrive, stop by the Dining Hall to check-in and complete any in-processing items. You will receive a checklist upon arrival. Each department you would need to see for in-processing will be present to complete any items from the checklist. Recruits with a Tiger Pass* will have their own line (door on the left) to enter. Tiger Pass recruits will simply check in and visit the MMI Parents’ Association and their hospitality table before exiting.

After completing in-processing, a returning cadet will help direct you toward your barracks to unload your stuff. Other cadets will be on campus directing your vehicle to permitted unloading zones. These unloading zones are for temporary parking only while unloading items for your barracks room. Unloading zones adjacent to the chapel will need to be cleared by 11:50 a.m. to accommodate the noon formation.

Once you are finished unloading, your vehicle will need to be moved to a designated parking area. You will see much progress happening on our campus during your visit as we are undergoing construction in multiple areas. A map of construction sites to avoid and permitted parking areas is linked above. and cadets and signs will be helping guide you to appropriate parking areas. Vehicles staying with recruits will need to be registered, and parked in the Cadet Parking Lot (item 37 on the map). Please note that no permanent parking is available directly in front of the Chapel – this is the area used for formation.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

* “Tiger Pass” refers to an expedited check-in process for recruits who completed all of the required checklist items prior to the deadline. Recruits with a completed checklist received a Tiger Pass in their student email inbox.
