Phi Theta Kappa Chapter Attends Regional Convention

On March 7, nine Phi Theta Kappa members (chapter officers and officer-elects for next academic year) and MMI Librarian Glenda Lammers traveled to Calhoun Community College in Decatur to participate in the Alabama Region PTK Convention. Following breakout sessions, the MMI chapter was awarded the Milestone Award, which recognizes a significant accomplishment and /or renewed enthusiasm among existing regions and superior achievements of newly organized regions. Ms. Lammers received the Paragon Award for New Advisors. 

"On the way back the cadets discussed all the things they want to accomplish next academic year which includes a campus project, leadership activities, community service and more," noted Lammers.
