About requests for alternate move-in date:
All new recruits and returning cadets are required to move in on their assigned date and times. Any unauthorized arrivals on a Saturday, Sunday, before 8:00 am or after 3:30 p.m. on weekdays, and/or after the date you were assigned MUST be communicated to the MMI Admissions Office and Commandant's Office. If you will be missing any classes, the request must be reviewed by the Academics Department. The request must also be communicated to the ROTC Department and/or Athletic Department, if applicable.
Step 1
Submit the form on the next page. You should submit a request no later than 5 business days prior to your ASSIGNED MOVE-IN DATE. (Exceptions can be made in circumstances such as unexpected travel cancellations/delays, family emergencies, etc., when the student was intending to arrive as scheduled).
Step 2
Reviewers from our Admissions Office, Commandant's Office, and other departments as applicable will evaluate your request. Depending on the timing and urgency of your request, this process usually will take 1-2 business days.
Step 3
Final status and instructions will be sent back to the email you use on the following form.
