ACCS Chancellor Visits Campus

Alabama Community College Chancellor Dr. Mark Heinrich, former president of Shelton State, visited Marion Military Institute on Sept. 18. Welcomed as a distinguished guest speaker, Heinrich addressed the topic of academic integrity to the audience of cadets, faculty and staff gathered in the historic MMI Chapel. He also toured renovated campus facilities, including Rane Hall barracks and the new Monteabaro Chemistry/Physics complex. As an educator, Dr. Heinrich noted that the leadership education program at MMI was something he would like to model in other state junior colleges.
