Cadets bring spirit to Holiday Reception and Christmas Parades

The holidays are drawing near, and just before final exams begin, MMI cadets are helping to spread Christmas cheer. On Thursday, Dec. 4, the Cadet Chorus performed a lovely program of Christmas favorites on the steps of the historic President's Quarters. The program ranged from "Santa Baby" to "Silent Night."

The MMI Athletic Department conducted its annual food drive Dec. 2-9, offering free admisison to two home basketball games with a canned/non-perishable item. A Toys for Tots collection box is filling up in the commandant's office thanks to the donations of cadets, faculty & staff.  

Cadets took part in the Dempolis Christmas on the River parade on Satruday, Dec. 6 and are preparing to march in the Abbeville Christmas parade on Monday, Dec. 8. Each public appearance by our Corps of Cadets help promote our stand-out students in regional communities.
