COL Passmore represents MMI at Fire Chief Conference

Colonel Ed Passmore, MMI's Director of the Center for Leadership & Career Development, was invited by the Alabama Fire College and the Alabama Association of Fire Chiefs to address their Executive Development Conference held February 1-2 in Tuscaloosa.  Colonel Passmore gave the assembled fire chiefs, representing almost all the fire departments in the state, an overview of MMI and our new program with the Fire College. This extra-curricular program will offer interested MMI cadets an opportunity to earn national firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician certifications over a course of two years. This is a great addition to all the options that MMI offers our cadets.  A symbiotic relationship, it also provides the fire service a source of highly motivated and disciplined firefighters and EMTs who have had two years of MMI leadership and character development.
