Irish newspaper Donegal Democrat features MMI Study Abroad group studying Gaelic

On Thursday, June 9, the Donegal Democrat published a feature story on a group of MMI cadets and instructors studying the Gaelic Language at Oideas Gael school in Gleann Cholmcille. History instructor and Gaelic club advisor Dr. Rankin Sherling, who wrote his thesis on Irish American immigration, was interviewed for the piece. This trip marks the second year MMI has sent a group to Ireland to study the native language and culture. The group raised more than $18,000 to travel and attend the course.
