101 APPOINTMENTS – The 2020-21 Service Academy Program (SAP) class at MMI earned 101 total appointments to the five U.S. Service Academies, breaking the previous school record of 96/year.

STUDENT SUCCESS – MMI’s success is clear with a 90% combined graduation and transfer student success rate.

BEST IN ALABAMA – In 2020 & 2021, MMI was ranked by Stacker as the best community college in the state.  The most recent stat sheet mentioned our 14:1 student/faculty ratio, $2M in annual scholarships, high six-year median earnings, and pipeline to all 5 U.S. Service Academies.

#1 IN NATION – In 2019, Student Loan Hero ranked MMI #1 among 513 community colleges in the nation, saying we “topped their list of students who transfer or earn an associate’s degree that can be used for credit at four-year schools. Among students who enrolled in 2014, 89% achieved 1 of these goals within 3 years.”

SMALL CLASSES – MMI boasts a 14:1 student/teacher ratio, an environment in which instructors personally know their students and can help them reach personal goals both in and out of the classroom.
