Alumni News: Two-star General and Professional Actor Speak to Graduates

MMI was pleased to host two successful alumni for its graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 9. Visiting campus for the first time since his own junior college graduation in 1997, Los Angeles actor Emerson Brooks Franklin shared tales from his cadet days to a Commencement audience filled with graduates' families in the Ireland Athletic Center.

Later that afternoon, Army ROTC was pleased to welcome one of its own as Commissioning Speaker: Major General Clark LeMasters, Jr., USA, who commissioned from MMI in 1982. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Logistics, G-3/4, U.S. Army Materiel Command at Redstone Arsenal.
