On Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, Marion Military Institute’s will host its premier fund-raising event benefiting the Corps of Cadets, the annual Dove Shoot & Shotgun Drawing. SHOTGUN DRAWING: Your chance to win a $40,000 Kevin's Poli Deluxe Quail 20-gauge shotgun plus fabulous outdoorsman bonus prizes: FAIR SLX 600 BL 20ga, Louisiana Redfish excursion, Perry County turkey hunt, leather gun & shell cases. Presence NOT required to win!  DOVE SHOOT: Avid hunters and MMI supporters gather at the pristine grounds of Givhan Land and Cattle Company in Safford for a full day of great hunting, delicious food, and lively fellowship. After the hunt, grab your friends and a cocktail, then enjoy an Alabama catfish dinner. If you don't hunt, come for the social hour and enjoy a wine and cheese tasting. Register to hunt.
