Advancement Office Launches Operation MMI Fundraising Battle

On December 1, the Advancement Office launched Operation MMI, a new annual giving strategy. Alumni decades and parents/patrons were divided into units competing for territory on a map of Marion. In just six weeks, the appeal raised $154,000, amounting to 38% of the annual goal of $400,000. Check the progress live at www.OperationMMI.com.  

The teams are as follows:

• Murfee's Marauders "Fighting 452nd" - alumni of the 1940s, 1950s and 2000s
• ​Gamechangers "Solid 68th Battalion" - alumni of the 1960s and 1980s
• Visioneers "Steely 79th Battalion" - alumni of the 1970s and 1990s
• Iron Shield "Parents & Patrons Militia" - parents, friends, corporations, etc.
