Men’s Tennis Team Wins ACCC Championship

The Marion Military Institute men's tennis team headed to the courts at the Mobile Tennis Center on April 13, hoping to wrest the championship mantle from Wallace State Community College, last year's Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) champion.  The Tigers went out and played their best tennis of the year, delivering the knockout blow in singles play by winning 11 out of a possible 12 points to secure their sixth ACCC title in seven years.  The Tigers then added five more points in doubles play to end the day with a stunning total of 16 points. MMI freshman Danny Boussom was named MVP, and the Tigers' Chuck Wright was named ACCC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year. FULL STORY
