Visiting Harvard Professor Presents U.S./Russia Relations Discussion
On the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 27, Dr. Yuval Weber (visiting professor at Harvard University) presented his overview of U.S./Russian relations since the Cold War ended and foreign policy scenarios moving forward in the Trump administration. Earlier that morning, he shared his expertise as part of the Moscow-based National Research University - Higher School of Economics to a group of select cadets. Their questions to him sparked conversations on counterterrorism efforts in Syria, the Ukranian civil war, NATO membership, Putin's rise to power, and the possibility of relaxed economic sanctions. Ultimately, Dr. Weber believes that personal diplomacy between these two"Great Power" presidents is the way to achieve common goals.
